My teaching philosophy is guided by an approach I call the 3E Model: to Embrace, Engage, and Enable students - our future changemakers - for success.
First, I strive to embrace all students for who they are—welcoming diverse perspectives rooted in our myriad identities and life experiences. Varied voices deepen our collective understanding. I employ adaptable methods to foster an inclusive environment, ensuring all voices are heard and respected and giving each student a sense of belonging to express themselves freely.
Second, I also actively engage learners as partners in knowledge creation—not just passive recipients of established information. Through dynamic activities like case study analyses, debates, and collaborative projects, I encourage students to self-reflect and construct their own conclusions.
Finally, I enable the real-world application of academic lessons through connections to recent cases, industry trends, and practical projects that mirror current professional challenges. I blend my professional insights, industry connections, and lessons learned (i.e., failures) into my teaching. This approach renders theoretical concepts relevant and engaging, equipping students with transferable skills for their future careers, focusing on professional readiness and ethical problem-solving.
